Kit Harington, 32, has played Jon Snow in Game of Thrones since it first launched in 2011.
The British actor has now reflected on his time on the show and opened up about his favourite scene.
Kit revealed his most memorable moment was working with his now-wife, Rose Leslie, who played Ygritte, for the first time.
In a video posted to Game of Thrones’ YouTube account, Kit divulged: “Iceland season two, the first day we were there, that was my favourite day on Thrones.
“I had never been to a more beautiful place in my life and it was special for so many reasons.”
Kit added: “It was the scene where I was not able to behead Ygritte.”
The star heaped praise on his wife and acknowledged the “great chemistry” they had on set.
“My favourite actor to work with was Rose Leslie,” he said.
“There was something really special working with Rose, she is one of the best actors I’ve worked with.”
Kit added: “We really had a great chemistry together, I think.”
The Game of Thrones favourite also spoke about the jaw-dropping moment when his character appeared to have died.
Kit revealed he wasn’t told the King in the North would actually come back to live until a while after.
“I think the most shocking was probably my death,” he spilled.
“I knew something was up because apparently everyone gets a phone call from David [Benioff] and Daniel [Weiss] when they’re actually dead.
“I never got that call. They left it a couple of weeks before they pulled me aside and went yeah you’re not dead.”
Elsewhere, Jon recently reflected on his friendship with Emilia Clarke (plays Daenerys Targaryen).
Explaining all about his on-screen lover, he told Esquire: “I think we’re good mates because we, maybe more than anyone else, know what the other one’s going through a bit.”
“I don’t mean to sound like we’re going through the worst thing in the world,” he went on.
“But I think no one else other than Emilia will know exactly what being on Thrones is like, the way we’re on Thrones. That’s really how we kind of bonded.”
