Kit Harington isn't a fan of "70%" of his 'Game Of Thrones' scenes

“I know who this is now, and I’m at peace with who this is,”

He’s been one of Game of Thrones‘ biggest stars since the show debuted in 2011, but it seems that Kit Harington is his own harshest critic.

Despite being involved in some of the HBO show’s biggest storylines, the Jon Snow actor says he’s not a big fan of “70% of the scenes” that he has appeared in.

“Looking back at the entirety of Thrones, there’ll be 70% of the scenes that I’ll just never be happy with. I’ve come to terms with that,” he told Variety.

But with Game Of Thrones‘ eighth and final season only weeks away, Kit says he’s beginning to find peace with his portrayal of the character.

“I know who this is now, and I’m at peace with who this is,” he explained. “I just got a feeling that it’s the most satisfied I will be with my work as Jon Snow.”

Harington also opened up on how Jon Snow was branded “boring” during the show’s earliest seasons – which eventually affected him.

“That got to me after a while,” he said. “I was like, ‘I love him. He’s mine and I love playing him’. Some of those words that were said about it stuck in my craw about him being less entertaining, less showy.

“I now look back and I go, well, I was a f**king integral part of that whole thing,” he added. “Jon was, and I am, and I’m proud of it. It took me a long time to not think, I’m the worst thing in this.”

It comes as Game of Thrones fans wait for the show’s final season to return. Yesterday, HBO announced that it has hidden six iron thrones around the world for fans to discover.
