When is The Kissing Booth 2 arriving on Netflix?

The Kissing Booth 2 is arriving on Netflix on July 24.

The movie was filmed over summer and autumn last year, and clearly all the editing and post-production was finished so it could be unveiled this year.

This is the time Netflix releases all of its Original films and show as well as syndicated content its bought from other broadcasters.

Netflix will be released the series globally in one go and the time of release will vary depending on your geographical location.

What is The Kissing Booth 2 about?

The next film in the franchise is based on The Kissing Booth 2: Going the Distance by Beth Reekles, the second in her book series.

In the first film, Noah left to go off to college, while Elle was left wondering whether the pair would make it as a couple.

While they are evidently still together when the movie starts, the official synopsis suggests it is not going to be smooth sailing,

The synopsis reads: “Elle Evans just had the most romantic summer of her life with her reformed bad-boy boyfriend Noah Flynn.

“But now Noah is off to Harvard, and Elle heads back to high school for her senior year.

“She’ll have to juggle a long-distance relationship, getting into her dream college with her best friend Lee, and the complications brought on by a close friendship with a handsome, charismatic new classmate named Marco.

“When Noah grows close to a seemingly-perfect college girl, Elle will have to decide how much she trusts him and to whom her heart truly belongs.”

Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Perez have joined the cast as Chloe and Marco, respectively, so these two may be the thorns in the side of Noah and Elle’s relationship.

As well as them, Joel Courtney is returning as Lee Flynn, Noah’s brother and Elle’s closest friend; Meganne Young as Lee’s girlfriend Rachel; Molly Ringwald as Mrs Flynn and Bianca Bosch as Olivia.

The Kissing Booth 2 arrives on Netflix on July 24 at midnight, which may be closer to 8am for UK viewers
