Kim Zolciak-Biermann 'livid' after Delta attendant booted sons from plane: 'It's a criminal thing'

Kim Zolciak-Biermann opened up in further detail Thursday about the recent incident with Delta Airlines in which she claims her two young sons sons were escorted off an Atlanta-bound flight in Los Angeles while her husband was rushing to board.

‘Who removes kids from a plane without a parent?’ the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 41, said on her House of Kim podcast Thursday.

She said her husband, former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Kroy Biermann, 33, was ironing out details regarding the family service dog when the incident occurred, as her daughters Brielle, 22, and Ariana, 17, were also on the flight.

She said an airline attendant ushered Kroy Jr., eight, and Kash, six, off the aircraft while she was with daughter Kaia, five, in the restroom, leaving behind son Kane, five.

The Bravo beauty admitted she ‘didn’t know what was going on’ in the confusion amid the incident.

‘Who the f*** touches my children, removes my bag, and removes my kids from a plane without a parent? Are you out of your f***ing mind?’ she asked.

‘It’s a criminal thing when you’re taking kids off a plane and people’s bag,’ the Don’t Be Tardy star said. ‘These are little kids, dude – that’s what got me so mad.’

Kim said that while she and her husband had ‘paid thousands of dollars’ for first-class tickets, she wasn’t being ‘entitled’ because of that.

‘That’s irrelevant … my biggest problem is that you removed my children,’ the outspoken reality star said.

Kim said that the family got to the airport an hour before takeoff, adding that the flight had already been delayed about 45 minutes.

While Kroy intended to meet the family at the gate, paperwork with the service dog took extra time – causing him to be tardy for the flight – but airline officials reassured him it would he delayed until the process was complete.

According to Kim, Kroy said an airline attendant at the gate ‘made an insubordinate decision’ to remove Kroy’s family from the aircraft instead of stalling the flight for him.

Kim opened up about realizing what was going on.

‘I heard my kids getting kind of emotional but then they seemed to get far away,’ she said. ‘It was really weird.

‘I stop and look and my kids are off the plane and so are my bags! I had left my big makeup bag full of product on my seat, that was gone. The bins were open, which were closed, and my kids were gone – at least KJ and Kash, I couldn’t see Kane because he’s much smaller than them.’

She said that another man was already in Kaia’s seat at the time she emerged from the lavatory.

Kim said her older daughters Brielle and Ariana were not in first class, but exited the aircraft after they heard Kroy Jr. and Kash as they were being led off.

Kim said as she came to realize what had happened she was ‘livid’ in seeking an explanation from airline attendants.

‘I go bananas … I’m like, “I need answers!”‘ she said. ‘Kash is hyperventilating, he’s so upset. These kids are eight, six, and five, and they’re taken off a plane by a man they don’t know. They’re devastated.’

She said that the plane took off without any of them, and they rebooked a flight home for the next day.

The incident initially came to light when Brielle tweeted about it July 20.

On July 20, Brielle tweeted: ‘Tommy at gate 27 delta LAX just kicked my WHOLE FAMILY OFF the flight to ATL bc we were waiting on my dad with our service dog to finish going thru security & kJ & kash started crying bc they thought we left him and Kaia was literally S****ING AND HE KICKED US OFF!!!!! WTF.’

She added: ‘He was grabbing my siblings and escorting them off HIMSELF while my moms in the bathroom with Kaia!!!!!!. I have never dealt with anything like this in my life.’

A Delta spokesman told DailyMail.com: ‘Mrs. Zolciak Biermann and family elected to deplane their flight after her husband remained behind to provide proper paperwork for an emotional support animal.’

A spokesman for Los Angeles International Airport police told DailyMail.com: ‘On Saturday July 20, 2019 at approximately 4:00 PM, Los Angeles Airport Police Officers responded to Terminal 2, gate 27 regarding a call for service.

‘Upon arrival and investigation officers found the incident to be a business dispute, which was being worked out by the parties involved. Officers determined no crimes had been committed and cleared the scene with no further action.’

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for the family.
