Kim Kardashian’s workout look is entirely impractical but a thirst trap goldmine

We’re used to celebrity examples of divorced dad energy – but for divorced mum energy, look no further than Kim Kardashian.

In between studying for the bar, parenting and running a beauty empire, the 40-year-old has managed to find some time to work out… in a cut-out swimsuit guaranteed to result in a wardrobe malfunction at the mere thought of a squat.

Because leggings and a sports bra are so passé.

Kim posted a racy new shot to Instagram, wearing a black one-piece that featured legs cut so high the cast of Baywatch would balk, and a large cut-out around the stomach.

She sported an ice-blonde weave which fell past her waist, and rocked plenty of highlighter on her cheekbones.

However, while this could have been a swimwear campaign, Kim was instead kneeling on the ground while gripping onto machine weights.

Impractical? Yes. Are we obsessed? Also yes.

Flame emojis littered the comments section, with Kim’s sister Khloe writing: ‘Ok now you are just playing with my emotions.’

Social media star Justin Laboy added: ‘YOU WIN. Nobody should post the rest of the day out of respect for this picture 🏆 #Respectfully.’

It was confirmed back in February that Kim had filed for divorce from husband of six years Kanye West, citing irreconcilable differences.

The pair share four children together – North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and one-year-old Psalm – and are seeking joint custody.

The impending split between the reality star and rapper is being played out on the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but in the present day, it seems Kim is doing pretty well, if her thirst traps are anything to go by.

Recently, she updated fans on her law studies by embracing her inner Elle Woods and posting snaps of herself studying in a bikini.

Kim revealed back in 2019 that she had begun a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco firm, and plans to take the bar in 2022.

She told Vogue: ‘I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society.

‘I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.’

In California, people can study law without attending law school by apprenticing with a practising lawyer or judge, and as Kim passed the ‘baby bar’ last year, she can continue on with her studies.

Kim – whose father Robert Kardashian was a lawyer who represented OJ Simpson in his murder trial – has pledged not to begin any new businesses until she passes the bar, telling WWD: ‘I want to finish that, before I connect with something else.’

But clearly, that doesn’t extend to breaking the internet.
