KIM Kardashian broke with tradition with her solo family Christmas card this year because she wanted to cut down on stress this holiday season.
A source said the reality star, 39, decided against a joint Kardashian-Jenner group photo because she is “over family drama”.
Instead, her Christmas card consists only of a simple touching snap of the Kardashian-Wests – including Kim, Kanye, 42, and their kids Psalm, 7 months, Chicago, 2 next month, Saint, 4, and North, 6.
Revealing Kim’s reasoning behind her decision, the family source told People: “It’s been difficult for them for years to get everyone together for a Christmas card.
“Last year when Kim organized it, there was a lot of complaining.
“It really stressed her out.
“She was over the drama and decided to do one for just her family this year.
“She knew fans wanted to see her whole family together, so it was important for her to share a special photo.”
Her desire for a low-key card to mark the holidays was clearly reflected in the casual vibe of their family snap.
It shows the A-list clan sitting in matching sweaters on the steps of their home.
But fans could still end up seeing a full-scale Kardashian-Jenner photo – after similar planning dilemmas were rectified last year.
In 2018, the family left it to the last minute to get a joint family photo after schedule clashes were finally ironed out.
That followed crippling family tensions the previous year, when infuriating scheduling issues led Kim to diss older sister Kourtney as the “least exciting to look at”.
