Kim Kardashian paid tribute to her late father Robert Kardashian with a sweet throwback photo to mark the 16th anniversary of his death.
Robert, best known as one of OJ Simpson’s lawyers, died on 30 September 2003 at the age 59 following a battle with esophageal cancer.
On Monday morning, Kim, 38, shared an adorable photo from her childhood in memory of her beloved dad.
The photo shows Robert smiling and hugging Kim and her older sister Kourtney Kardashian while they each plant a kiss on either side of the lawyer’s cheek.
Alongside the sweet snap, Kim wrote: ‘Miss you dad. Can’t believe today would be 16 years since you went to heaven.’
Kim was known to have had a close relationship with her father and is now following in his footsteps by studying law.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star confirmed she is currently studying to take the bar exam in 2022.
Earlier this year, Kim recalled how she used to rummage through Robert’s files on the OJ Simpson double murder case in the midst of the sports star’s trial back in 1995.
Speaking to People, Kim said: ‘The “Dream Team” would have meetings at my house, and I was always looking through the evidence books and everything,.
‘Kourtney [Kardashian] would always yell at my like, “Get out of his stuff! Why do you care?” I was really into it.’
The mother-of-four also revealed what legal tips she learned from her dad when she was growing up.
‘I learned a lot just from him talking to me about it and his opinions. He always knew I was really interested in going to law school,’ she explained.
‘He would say it was way too stressful [to be a lawyer] as a full time job, so I’d really have to think about it.’
