Kim Kardashian gifts daughter North, six, Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal hat on top of extortionate $65,000 jacket

Kim Kardashian has gone all out for her daughter North West for Christmas, gifting her with a hat worn by Michael Jackson – after she had already given her a jacket worn by the late singer.

We can clearly sense that North is a MJ fan at heart.

The reality star took to Instagram stories to share a picture of the accessory in question and showed that on top of having Michael’s name embroidered onto it, it also still had the King Of Pop’s make-up stains on it.

‘Along with [the] jacket, North also got Michael’s Smooth Criminal hat,’ Kim wrote. ‘It still has his make-up on it.’

Michael notably wore the hat in the music video for his hit single Smooth Criminal in 1988, which paid homage to the gangster style of the 1930s.

It is not known how much Kim paid for the item, but it is thought to be a lot, after she and husband Kanye West previously gifted their six-year-old daughter a very expensive jacket that Michael also happened to wear.

The jacket, which the singer wore at Elizabeth Taylor’s 65^th birthday and to the Cannes Film Festival in 1997, was brought for a whopping $65,625 (£50,000) by the couple at an auction back in October.

‘So we won this on auction for Northy for Christmas and we had it like, tacked up so she can wear it.’

And it’s clear that Kim is a pretty big fan of auctions – as she revealed that she also brought two rings worn by the late Elvis Presley for her brother, Robert Kardashian, as his Christmas present.

‘I’m obsessed with auctions and my brother is the biggest Elvis Presley fan so I got him two of Elvis’s rings for Christmas!’
