Adding statement accessories to her ensemble, the TV personality wore a large shiny black neckpiece around her neck and similar jewellery on both of her wrists.
She finished off her look with a pair of high-heel flip-flops.
Birthday girl La la, who is set to star in the Beverley Hills 90210 reboot which airs next month, donned a skintight pink latex dress and contrasting yellow stilettos for the outing.
She posed for pictures on the street with a set of balloons before heading into her birthday party.
Taking to Instagram, Kim wished her friend of almost 10 years a happy birthday and shared footage from inside the ice-cream parlour with her 142 million followers.
The pair, who were also joined by Jonathan Cheban, 45, and Simon Huck, 35, were seen eating dipped cones, Oreo milkshakes and sweet treats during their visit.
Mother-of-four Kim, who is married to Kanye West, just returned home from a family vacation in Costa Rica where she was joined by her sister Kourtney and her children.
