Kim Kardashian dazzles in black as she graces Creative Arts Emmys 2019 red carpet

Kim Kardashian looked dazzling and sophisticated as she led the red carpet at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

The reality star attended the first night of the 71^st annual edition of the award ceremony on Saturday in Los Angeles, where she sported an elegant black asymmetrical halter gown, paired with a set of black heels.

The outfit also complimented Kim’s dark hair, which was tied up in a knot.

Kim teased her makeup look for the night on her Instagram stories before the ceremony, as she posted a video from her dressing room, showing off several different eyeshadow palettes – which are more than likely to be from her KKW Beauty line.

‘Can you guess which palette we’re using today for the Emmys!!!’ she said.

Also appearing on the red carpet were stars such as Nicole Scherzinger, Lisa Kudrow, Angela Bassett, Jimmy Kimmel, James Corden and RuPaul, with many picking up awards.

This is only just the first of two nights for the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which is held in conjunction alongside the main Primetime Emmy Awards.

The ceremony celebrates technical achievements in television, with many series and documentaries already winning big.

Queer Eye was the biggest win of the night, with the Netflix reality series, which stars the likes of Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness, won an impressive four awards, including the gong for Structured Reality Programme.

The second night of the awards ceremony will take place on 15 September with shows such as This Is Us and Saturday Night Live (SNL) leading the nominations for the remainder of the awards that are yet to be given out.

Meanwhile, the Primetime Emmy Awards are set to take place on 22 September, with Game of Thrones leading the nominations with 14.
