KIM Kardashian argued with her husband Kanye West the night before the Met Gala because her dress was too sexy.
The rapper told the reality star: “You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy,” as she prepared to wear a skin-tight Thierry Mugler wet-look dress to the fashionista event earlier this year.

The couple had a fight over her heavily-corseted hourglass outfit, which ended with Kanye walking off, as seen in Sunday’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“The corset, the underwear, all that vibe, I just feel like. I just went through this transition where from being a rapper, looking at all these girls…looking at my wife – [thinking] ‘My girls needs to be just like all the other girls and showing her body off showing this showing that’.”
“I didn’t realise that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that’s married and loved and the father – now of about to be four kids,” he told Kim, who sat on the sofa on her cellphone.
Kanye continued: “The corset, it’s a form of underwear – it’s hot but hot for who?”

Kim, who had spent the day having fittings for the outfit which included a very structured corset, told Kanye that he was not helping her nerves ahead of stepping out in front of the cameras at the big event.
“The night before the Met you’re going to come in here and say you’re not into a corset body?” she asked him before saying that he was giving her “bad anxiety.”
“I don’t need any more negative energy for you to now say that you’re not into me wearing a tight dress,” she told him.
Kanye responded: “You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy.”

“You built me up to be this sexy person and confidence and all this stuff. And just because you’re on a journey and you’re on your transformation doesn’t mean I’m in the same spot with you,” Kim told her husband of five years.
The Gold Digger hitmaker did not want to continue the conversation and stood up, telling Kim, “OK, Alright. Cool,” before storming out of the room.
“That’s absolutely ridiculous,” Kim muttered to herself and her pals who were in the hotel room.
Her custom made Thierry Mugler dress was designed to look like she was dripping with water and emerging from the ocean for the camp-themed event in May.

Fans online were quick to jump to Kim’s defence.
“Kim really shut Kanye down with ALL THE FACTS,” wrote one.
Another praised her authenticity, writing: “I love how Kim has never changed who she is. She’s never been a submissive partner.”
Some were critical of Kanye’s comments, with one tweeting: “Never thought I’d say this but Kanye is holding Kim back,” with others noting the way that he walked out of the room.
