Kim Cattrall reopens feud with Sex and The City co-stars by branding them 'bullies'

Kim Cattrall has risked reigniting her high profile feud with Sarah Jessica Parker and her other former Sex and the City co-stars by branding them ‘bullies’.

The 62-year-old British born actress took aim at the women who she shared screen time over six seasons and 94 episodes – as well as two big screen adventures.

Speaking to The Observer Magazine on Sunday, Kim explained she is thankful for the riches and success that Sex and the City has brought her having first debuted as sex-crazed PR boss Samantha Jones in the smash hit HBO comedy drama back in 1998.

However, she said she felt she was under attack when she refused to return to the role for a third big screen version of the show following the success of a 2008 film and 2010 sequel.

“I went past the finish line playing Samantha Jones because I loved Sex and the City,” she explained to the weekend publication.

“It was a blessing in so many ways but after the second movie I’d had enough,” she continued.

With her tone turning a little sour, Kim continued: “I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t just replace me with another actress instead of wasting time buying. No means no.”

The last Sex and the City outing was the 2010 film Sex and the City 2

In the same interview, Kim took a thinly veiled swipe at her co-stars as she reflected on her own mortality.

“I don’t want to be in a situation for even an hour where I’m not enjoying myself,” she began.

“I want to choose who I spend time with personally and professionally. It’s my life,” she said.

Kim famously fell out with her co-stars – with things reaching a dramatic climax last year when 54-year-old SJP expressed sadness and sympathy when Kim’s brother, Christopher Cattrall, took his own life, aged 55.

Kim lashed out at her former co-star, blasting via social media: “You are not my friend,” to the stunned amazement of fans and followers.

“You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona,” Kim raged.
