KIM Kardashian and her sister Kourtney faked their upcoming fight on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, The Sun can reveal.
The sisters have been butting heads in recent seasons of the E! show and a new trailer for season 18 teased the pair get into a physical fight during an argument.
However a source has exclusively told The Sun that the conflict was deliberated exaggerated to create drama for the show.
The insider revealed: “It really didn’t escalate to anything other than a shove and Kim didn’t land the punch. It’s really exaggerated for TV. Made for TV drama.
“They really don’t hate each other, and mom Kris [Jenner] would NEVER let there be actual violence.”
The source continued: “Sometimes they do fight because Kourtney is jealous Kim is more successful, and it’s true Kim didn’t believe Kourtney was pulling her weight on the show.”
The Sun has reached out to the show’s representatives for comment.
The pair’s fight has already made headlines thanks to the dramatic scenes featured in the KUTWK teaser clip.
In the trailer, Kourtney yells: “You have nothing to say.”
“Don’t ever come at me like that,” Kim snaps back before aggressively lunging at her.
The famous family’s on-going feud has been heavily documented on the hit reality show.
Last season, Kim threatened to fire Kourtney because of her desire to “keep certain things private.”
While another episode saw the two women had a row over their kids’ joint birthday-party.
The new clip comes months after Kourtney, 40, announced she is stepping back from KUWTK to focus on her young family.
The reality star, who has been on the show since 2007, announced her decision alongside sisters Kim and Khloe.
Speaking on Entertainment Today, she said: “I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there.
“But I’m not saying goodbye… I think you’ll have to see more of it on the new season, season 18. It isn’t airing yet, but it’s being filmed. Currently, in this room.”
Khloe said she hoped Kourtney would return to the family’s reality show at some point.
The 35-year-old explained: “We definitely love Kourtney and we will miss Kourtney and whatever she decides to do, but people come, people go all the time in this family.”
She added: “We feel like it’s a revolving door, so Kourtney might leave this week, she’ll be back. They all come back.”
