If Khloe Kardashian isn’t engaged, then we don’t quite know what to believe anymore.
The reality star has given her biggest hint yet – and we mean that literally – that she is engaged to Tristan Thompson, by showing off her manicure alongside a diamond on that finger that could sink a ship.
Khloe, 36, took to Instagram to show off her Easter-themed nail art, with each tip coloured a different pastel shade.
But we only copped her nails about 10 minutes later, because we were dazzled by the enormous diamond sitting on her ring finger.
Tristan, 30, commented with eye and diamond emojis, while Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn summed up what we were all thinking, writing: ‘Girl we ain’t looking at your nails we looking at that 💎.’
Another person asked: ‘Is that the diamond from Titanic?’, while pal Jen Atkin played dumb, writing: ‘All I see is Easter inspired nail art.’
Now, this snap was posted on April 1, so sceptics could say it was simply a very expensive April Fools’ Day joke, but this isn’t the first time this particular ring has been shown off.
In an ad teasing a new line of Good American shoes, Khloe balanced her hand on her bum, and that diamond entirely distracted from the heeled boots she was promoting.
Maybe it’s just all a trolling exercise. Maybe that ring only fits Khloe’s fourth finger on her left hand. Or maybe she’s engaged, and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians final season is leading up to a huge announcement.
Khloe and Tristan have been sparking reconciliation rumours for months, and last month, Khloe seemed to suggest they were back together while wishing the basketball star a happy 30th birthday.
She wrote: ‘The ones that are meant to be are the ones who go through everything that is designed to tear them apart and they come out even stronger than they were before.
‘Thank you for showing me everything you said you would. For the father you are. For the best friend I have in you. I’m thankful that I can do absolutely nothing with you and it feels like everything. I hope you know today and everyday how loved you are by me and so many.’
The pair began dating in 2016 and in December 2017, Khloe confirmed that they were expecting their first child together.
Days before their daughter True was born, Tristan was pictured appearing to kiss another woman at a New York City club, while footage of the Boston Celtics baller kissing two other women at a hookah lounge in October 2017 was released.
The pair stayed together after True’s birth, but the drama wasn’t over yet, as in February 2019, it emerged that Tristan kissed Kylie Jenner’s then best friend Jordyn Woods at a party.
This scandal led to Khloe and Tristan splitting up, although they continued to co-parent True.
However, in 2020, the exes quarantined together during the pandemic and appeared close in social media posts – and in August, Scott Disick seemed to confirm the pair were back together, by commenting on a picture of Khloe: ‘@RealTristan13 is a lucky man!’
At this rate, discovering Khloe and Tristan aren’t actually together would be more of a bombshell.
