KEVIN Hart was left terrified as giant basketball star Anthony Davis fell on top of him after he recovered from a back injury.
The 40-year-old star was sitting court-side for the Christmas Day NBA game and got the shock of his life when the 6′8″ LA Lakers star toppled onto him as the first half of the game came to an end.
Davis had attempted to make a last-minute shot when he lost his footing and stumbled backwards.
Landing right in 5’3″ Kevin’s lap, the comic looked scared as he was jolted backwards in his seat.
However, he then managed to laugh-off the incident, being seen joking with the 26-year-old basketball player as he struggled to get back on his feet.
Kevin’s wife Eniko Hart – who was sitting next to the popular actor – found the entire thing hilarious, and laughed hysterically at the awkward encounter.
The star’s initial concern was no doubt due to his recent back injury, with Kevin only just back on his feet after a horror car crash.
In September of this year, Kevin suffered three spinal fractures after his 1970 Barracuda – driven by his friend Jared Black – smashed into a tree on the Mulholland Highway, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol.
He was hospitalised for 10 days before entering an inpatient rehab facility for physical therapy.
Kevin previously confessed that the near-fatal accident gave him a greater appreciation for his loved ones as he revealed that Eniko had to help him in the bathroom during the “humbling” recovery process.
“I could not f**king move,” he said. “I literally I couldn’t do none of that.”
He also laid bare the hard slog of his recovery in a video posted to Instagram.
In the clip, nurses can be seen helping him as he uses a walking frame to stand upright.
Kevin is also filmed undergoing physical therapy lessons at his home, with his wife Eniko and his three children featuring in the post.
