Kevin Hart gets back to work promoting Jumanji: The Next Level just weeks after horrific car crash

Just weeks after suffering serious injuries from a horrific car crash, Kevin Hart is getting back to work.

The 40-year-old actor and comedian is reportedly back in action promoting his upcoming action sequel Jumanji: The Next Level, according to TMZ.

The stand-up talent showed up for several hours worth of video shoots on set on Monday, in addition to another two-hour shoot on Tuesday and one more slated for Thursday.

While Hart is still not back to 100% health after the accident, the comedian is still committed to fulfilling his obligations.

While no specifics were given for the film shoots, Hart was not in costume and was rarely required to stand or walk, with the actor sitting most of the time.

The other primary stars of Jumanji: The Next Level, including Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and others, have been putting in full days as well.

Hart returned home from his inpatient rehab facility on September 20, following the horrific crash that took place over the Labor Day holiday weekend involving a 1970 Baracuda muscle car that his friend was driving, that ended up in a ditch.

The actor suffered three spinal fractures from the accident, two in the thoracic section of the spine and one in the lumbar.

He spent 10 days in the hospital and was then transferred to the inpatient facility before returning home.

Hart has been easing himself back to health, and doctors have assured him that he’ll eventually be back to where he was before the accident.

Since he doesn’t have anything on his plate, as far as filming new projects, he’s been taking the time needed to get back to full health.

While Hart is normally in the gym working out constantly, he has pared back his regimen to exclusively to exercises approved by his physical therapist.

Jumanji: The Next Level is slated to hit theaters December 13, going up against Black Christmas and Richard Jewell, opening a week before Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The sequel is a follow-up to the 2017 surprise hit Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which was one of the top box office hits of the year.
