Strictly Come Dancing 2019 professional dancer Kevin Clifton, 37, and his girlfriend Stacey Dooley, 32, found love after meeting on the 2018 series of the BBC ballroom dancing competition.
The pair, who won last year’s contest, like to keep their relationship out of the spotlight where possible but occasionally give fans a glimpse into their life together.
Earlier this week, TV presenter Stacey took to social media to share an outfit snap on Instagram, and her beau paid her a sweet compliment in the comments section for all to see.
Documentary filmmaker Stacey, who has a passion for clothes and make-up, shared a picture online with her 799,000 Instagram followers from the dressing room of a clothes store.
Wearing nude-coloured ensemble, comprised of a satin wrap around top which tied at the side and a pair of matching trousers, the TV star snapped a selfie in the mirror.
She captioned the picture: “Consistent with the palette guys.”
Stacey wore her signature red tresses loose for the selfie and completed her look with gold hooped-earrings and rings on her fingers.
Taking to the comments section, Strictly favourite Kevin remarked: “Wow” followed by a heart-eyed emoji.
Three days ago, the dancer, who is set to star in the theatre production of The Wedding Singer in January, posted a throwback video of the pair from their time on Strictly.
The minute and a half video, which was shared with Kevin’s 370,000 Instagram followers, shows the couple in the training room ahead of the semi final last year.
They perform the Charleston in the clip, which was captioned: “@bbcstrictly semi final Charleston training with @sjdooley.”
Stacey remarked: “My fave [love heart],” alongside the footage.
Following his big win last year, reigning champion Kevin was not able to recreate his success in this year’s competition.
The star, who was partnered with broadcaster Anneka Rice, 61, left the ballroom and latin dancing contest in the very early stages.
He did however return to the show when he stood in for injured pro Neil Jones, and danced with former footballer Alex Scott for two weeks.
Later this month, Kevin will have another celebrity partner when he appears in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special with 2017 contestant Debbie McGee.
