Kerry Katona has turned to religion after suffering a ‘rocky’ year, posting a snap of her Bible on social media.

The singer is currently away from home performing in panto, but took a moment to give fans some words of advice.

‘Good morning you beautiful people well I’m away now on panto but bring a little bit of home with with me… my gratitude book and me Bible!’ she wrote.

‘I’m so grateful for so many different things even for my rocky road it’s led me to where I am today. learn from your past mistakes embrace and accept them and hold your hands up to them!

‘It’s almost end of a year and in my family‘s case as many of you it’s been a very tough year but again I’m grateful I’m happy and I’m extremely blessed I know they’re still going to be bumps on the road no family is perfect.

‘Life isn’t always easy but that’s what makes it fun the challenges ahead the new adventure we face we’ve got this people let’s do this s***!’

The 39-year-old’s ex-husband George Kay passed away back in July, with the star also being accused of failing to send one of her children to school (before the charges were dropped).

More recently, Kerry has faced criticism over using weight loss injections and promoting them on her Instagram.

In a recent episode of This Morning, Holly Willoughby said: ‘Could an injection a day help melt the kilos away? That’s what Kerry Katona and Gemma Collins would have you believe after promoting the use of slimming jabs.’

Dr Zoe Williams appeared on the show, describing the promotion of the injections as ‘irresponsible and dangerous’.

However, Kerry was left fuming at the segment, telling The Sun: ‘I think it’s very unfair they didn’t have any of us on there. I’m not promoting this just for a pay cheque.

‘Of course I get paid, but I also use the product. There are celebrities out there that would promote something and not use the product. I need to know if it works – and it worked for me.’

She also posted a snap in her underwear on Instagram, saying: ‘What might work for you might not always work for someone else…DONT PAST JUDGEMENT till you have all facts [sic].’
