Kendall Jenner insists she’s ‘always rooting’ for Caitlyn Jenner after criticism over lack of social media posts about I’m A Celebrity

Kendall Jenner has thrown her weight behind Caitlyn Jenner as she continues to fight for the crown in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

The supermodel, 24, said she was “always rooting” for her parent after being criticised for a lack of posts about her time on the ITV reality show.

Posting on Instagram, Kendall shared a video Caitlyn learning a Girls Aloud dance with Nadine Coyle, Jacqueline Jossa and Adele Roberts.

Next to it, she wrote: “Always rooting for you. Strongest person on the [planet]. Just because I’m not posting doesn’t mean I’m not supporting. I love my dad!”

Her post comes after Caitlyn’s partner, Sophia Hutchins, shut down rumours that the Kardashian-Jenner clan were not supportive of the Olympic champion’s stint Down Under.

When Sophia appeared on Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan said: “She’s always been incredibly supportive of all the kids – the Kardashians – and the wider Jenners.

“Where are they with their support for Caitlyn? They have been notable by their silence.”

“I think the media has read into that a little bit too much,” 23-year-old Sophia replied. “I think, no matter what Caitlyn does, her kids love her to death. Her kids support whatever she’s doing.”

Caitlyn is the parent of six children – Casey Marino, Kendall, Kylie, Brandon, Brody and Burt Jenner – and stepparent to four adult Kardashian kids; Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob.

Since her transition, she has requested her children still refer to her as “dad”.

She told her fellow I’m A Celeb stars: “My kids all call me dad, Kendall asked me first and I said ‘dad’, I’m your dad and I’ll always be your dad till the day I die.

“But what they’re really good at, which shocks me all the time is when they’re talking about me, [it’s] ‘my dad, she’ and it’s tough to change the pronoun in the middle of it.”
