Rick and Morty’s Spencer Grammer was ‘slashed with a knife’ following a row in a restaurant, it has been reported.

The Summer Smith voiceover star – and daughter of Frasier actor Kelsey Grammer – was allegedly attacked as she tried to break up an argument at a New York eatery, on Friday.

According to reports, the 36-year-old was enjoying an evening at The Black Ant, when a drunk man stumbled into the restaurant and demanded a table, at around 11.30pm.

Page Six states he became irate when he was turned away, and an argument with staff soon turned physical.

‘Everyone jumped out of their seats. About 15 people maybe. Everyone was trying to pull them apart,’ an eyewitness told the publication.

’It looked like there was a full on brawl.’

Spencer and pal Jan Phillip Mueller are thought to have tried to diffuse the situation – when she was allegedly ‘slashed’ in the right arm.

Her friend was also injured, with the pair taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment before being released.

The attacker reportedly fled the scene just moments before police arrived.

Mum-of-one Spencer and dad Kelsey have not publicly addressed the incident on social media.

The actress is best known for her voiceover role on Rick and Morty, as Summer Smith, and also played Casey Cartwright on ABC comedy Greek.

She is the oldest daughter of Kelsey – whose acting CV includes Cheers and spin-off Frasier, as well as a recurring role on The Simpsons – from his marriage to ex-wife Doreen Alderman.

He is also father to Kandace, Mason, Jude, Faith, Kelsey, and Auden.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Spencer’s reps for a comment.
