She did her bit to fight the coronavirus outbreak by reportedly donating $1 million for ventilators and women’s shelters, along with husband Mark Consuelos.

Kelly Ripa was in a more playful mood Sunday as she poked fun at the little sacrifices she and others have had to give up while self isolating, like salon trips.

The 49-year-old Live! With Kelly And Ryan host gave her 2.7 million Instagram fans a close-up view of her newly-gray roots in an intimate Instagram Stories post.

Kelly was covered up with a white towel and looked as if she’d just gotten out of the shower in her mirror selfie.

She blocked her face with her phone, but gave a clear view of her honey blonde locks, which were parted down the middle to reveal an advancing stripe of gray.

‘Root watch week one,’ she jokingly captioned it.

She was able to joke about the small inconveniences, but the daytime talk show host has been urging her fans to isolate and take precautions prior to multiple states and municipalities shutting down non-essential business and social gatherings.

Earlier this month, she posted videos of herself working out at home while plugging an at-home fitness plan to keep people away from public gyms.

On Thursday, Kelly and her husband Mark Consuelos donated $1 million to coronavirus relief efforts.

Part of the funds will go to the New York Governor’s Office to help purchase ventilators, which are urgently needed to help those with severe cases of COVID-19 breathe.

New York has been among the states hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic, with 76 deaths attributable to COVID-19 so far, according to the New York Times.

The newspaper’s analyses also indicate that New York’s rate of deaths have been doubling every two days, giving it one of the steepest trajectories in the nation.

The rest of Kelly and Mark’s donation will be awarded to Women in Need (WIN), an organization that runs 11 women’s shelters throughout New York City.

They joined a growing list of celebrities donating to coronavirus relief efforts, including Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who donated $1 million to various food bank organizations, and Ciara and Russell Wilson, who donated one million meals to a Seattle-based charity.

Meanwhile, the former soap actress is readying a return to her talk show on Monday.

She posted a photo earlier on Monday of her laptop and cell phone as she and her producers planned out how to carry on the show from home via video chat.
