She’s been quarantining with her family in a cabin in Montana during the coronavirus pandemic.

And on Thursday, Kelly Clarkson gave fans something to be cheerful about as she shared the date for the release of her new single.

‘This is my favorite/hardest project that I’ve ever worked on. I can’t wait for you to hear “I Dare You” out everywhere April 16th!’ she tweeted.

Kelly, 37, retreated to rural Montana after production on her daytime chat show was temporarily shut down due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Her Las Vegas residency that had been scheduled to kick off on April 1 has also been postponed.

For now, it’s been rescheduled to open in July.

She is holed up with husband Brandon Blackstock, 43, and their two children – daughter River Rose, five, and son Remy, three. 

Kelly has shared some of the things they are doing to pass the time with her social media followers.

Brandon is teaching River to ride and Remy is busy building things with his toy sets.
