Kelly Brook has admitted she’s been ‘really shaken up’ by an intruder who broke into her North London home.

On Tuesday, the model came home from her shift at Heart Radio to find a man in her £3 million house.

Kelly, 40, heard a noise and when she went to investigate, she saw the intruder fleeing from the back of the property.

Speaking to The Sun, Kelly said: ‘The thought of someone being inside my house has really shaken me up — especially because I’m there on my own quite a lot in the week.

‘I’m so, so upset, it’s just an awful thing to have to think about.’

She added that she wouldn’t be spending the night alone in the house following the disturbing incident.

Kelly looked tense as she left her house the day after the burglary, to head to Heart’s studio in Leicester Square.

The Celebrity Juice star hid behind a pair of sunglasses, and kept warm in a leopard print bomber jacket.

It is believed jewellery and a number of electrical items were stolen from her home.

Police officers arrived at Brook’s residence on Tuesday night and have opened up an investigation.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: ‘Officers were called at around 19.35hrs on Tuesday, to a report of a burglary at an address.

‘There was no report of injury. Officers attended the location and have begun an investigation.’

Kelly also owns a £1 million cottage in Kent, which she shares with boyfriend Jeremy Parisi.
