Keith Flint: DJ Mayumi Kai denies she's his wife as REAL spouse with same name stays silent

A Japanese DJ who shares the same name as Keith Flint’s wife has been forced to deny she’s his spouse.

DJ Mayumi Kai’s Twitter page was flooded with comments after she shared a link to a news story about the Prodigy frontman’s passing.

Unable to speak English, she hired an interpreter to work out what was going on, and realised fans thought she was the Mayumi Kai who was married to Keith.

“Attention all, there has been a big misunderstanding. I am not the DJ Mayumi who is the wife of the late musician Keith Flint,” she clarified on Instagram .

“I am not a native English speaker but I recognized some of language used towards me in the comments and had a translator informed me of the situation.

She set the record straight

“It deeply saddens me to hear of Keith’s passing. I am a big fan of Prodigy and I have played their songs many times before. My heart goes out to Keith’s family as well as friends and fans! He will be truly missed and may his music live on forever.”
