Khloé Kardashian wrestled with whether to take back Tristan Thompson on Thursday’s season 19 finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, after he declared that he is still in love with her.
Tristan, 29, had openly admitted to Khloé, 36, and her friends and family that he still loved her, and kept trying to win her over on the episode, entitled ‘Love Lockdown‘, where Khloe was left confused over what to do.
Khloe admitted she wants a ‘fairy tale ending’ after the NBA star admitted he realised it didn’t make him ‘less of a man’ to be ‘deeply in love’ with the mother of his two-year-old daughter, True.

Tristan had already spent the past few weeks taking care of her and their daughter True, two, as Khloé battled coronavirus, keeping her fed and entertained.
‘I want my baby back,’ he explained to their pal Malika Haqq, 37. ‘I want my queen back.’
But Khloé, who’d been burned by Tristan’s cheating when she was heavily pregnant with True and latterly with family friend Jordyn Woods, wasn’t sure she could get over the way he’d hurt her.
The episode aired as it was revealed that Khloe had unfollowed her ex after rumours surfaced he’d previously hooked up with former family friend Larsa Pippen, 46.
‘We’ve done this rodeo before, where your actions didn’t go with your words,’ Khloé told Tristan on the show. ‘And for almost a year, you’ve been a different person.’

‘It frustrates me,’ she continued, ‘because I’m like, ”Why now?” The man I dreamed of currently, why couldn’t you be like that when we were together? One of my fears is you’re acting like this until you get what you want, and then if you do, you’re gonna turn into the old Tristan again.’
Tristan said he knew he’d messed up but he knew what he wanted in life, and it was Khloé.
‘Do I love you? A million percent,’ Khloé offered. ‘Am I in love with you currently? No. It would be great if I could have this fairy tale ending, but just because you have a family with someone doesn’t mean you have to stay with someone if it’s not the best fit.’

Khloé and Tristan had been quarantining together since the state of California went on lockdown, with Tristan only occasionally going home.

‘I know if it wasn’t for quarantine, we wouldn’t be spending this much time together,’ Khloé admitted. ‘But I like spending time with him.’
The two of them worked out together and celebrated True’s second birthday at home.

Asked if she’d slept with Tristan, Khloé swore she’d only given him ‘a peck goodbye,’ though he had tried something with her ‘every day.’
She questioned whether she was right to keep hanging out with Tristan when he was so ardently pursuing her, and Scott reassured her that it was fine.
Khloé then called Malika, who was home with her baby and ex-partner rapper O.T. Genasis, 33.

‘I know that,’ Khloé rejoined, ‘but I think I feel a little more pressure. Even my family’s like, ”So are you guys sleeping together or not?” And I’m like, ”No, I’m not.” He’s never said he needs an answer, but I almost feel like he needs an answer to ”What are we doing?”
Khloé wished she knew. ‘It’s like, I don’t even know how to get a feeling back. Any feeling.’

Malika suspected Khloé had a block up because it was safe, and Khloé agreed, asking, ‘Who wouldn’t? Every relationship I go into, they’re always disappointing and f***ed up.’
‘I have every reason to have these bricks up in layers,’ she went on. ‘And if somebody cares enough, they will take those bricks down, brick by brick. Otherwise, I am very good sitting in my palace with my moat, alligators and all the walls around me.’
Malika said, ‘Nobody wants to get back with a guy that broke your heart in front of millions of people. But the Khloé that I know doesn’t give a f*** what people think. He loves you, and I believe deep down inside that you still love him.’

While Khloé debated, she organized a car parade for Kourtney Kardashian’s 41st birthday, with family and friends driving by her home with signs, balloons and honking horns.

Malika was working on something behind the scenes too, calling Tristan to talk to him about his relationship with Khloé.
‘We’re in a good space,’ Tristan told her, ‘but obviously you know, lost my partner-in-crime, my Taco Tuesday buddy… it’s like, damn, when it hits you, it hits you hard.’
‘She sacrificed the world for me,’ he continued. ‘And for me just being immature and not smart, and not really understanding what I’ve done.
‘What I’ve realized is, I put a lot of weight on opinions that didn’t matter. Being a professional athlete, we get so used to make everyone else happy, we forget what makes Tristan happy.’

Tristan went to talk to Kris, who said that when he hurt Khloé, he hurt the whole family, but she still wanted them to be happy.

After Tristan and Khloé hashed things out, they headed to Kris’ Palm Springs home.
‘It’s good that Tristan and I talked about everything,’ Khloe said. ‘It just makes me feel less guilty. Because one thing I don’t want to do to anybody? I don’t want to put anybody’s life on pause.’

In another storyline, Scott was getting stir-crazy from being in coronavirus lockdown, which the governor of California had just extended by two months.
He took walks with Kim Kardashian, 40, celebrated Easter with his kids, and rented a ‘private’ Malibu beach house to try to improve his mental health, but the paparazzi found him.
The ongoing isolation and boredom made Scott anxious and depressed, he said, ‘like I was gonna do something bad if I didn’t figure something out or take myself out of this position.’

He asked Kourtney, his former partner, to take the kids for a month so he could go to a facility specializing in trauma and process his late parents’ deaths.
‘I go to therapy every week, but I never have any breakthroughs, and I never feel happy,’ Scott said. ‘I just wanna be the best person I can be for my family.’

Four days into Scott’s stay, someone leaked the news to the press, so Kourtney alerted him, and he left.

Scott said he was especially hurt by reports that he was in rehab for cocaine and alcohol issues, adding that he felt ‘turned off’ by the experience and wouldn’t do it again.

She asked him if a photo he posted on the family’s group chat, of him and Kourtney in a pool, saying, ‘We’re going for baby #4’, was a joke.

The party raised Scott’s spirits.
‘It couldn’t be a better birthday, honestly,’ he said.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians will end in 2021 after its 20th and final season on the E! network.
