Keeping Faith star Eve Myles has revealed she and her husband and co-star Bradley Freegard are expecting their third child.

The actress revealed the exciting news on Twitter, sharing a snap of herself blissfully enjoying the sun.

Captioning the photo, she wrote: ‘We would love to share with you all…baby No3 is well and truly on the way! #mamaandbumpenjoyingthesun’.

Fans and friends are thrilled for her, with one writing: ‘That is fantastic news. I’m over the moon for you @Bradfreegard and the girls!! You all deserve so much happiness.’

‘Congrats to you and Brad. What lovely news for you guys,’ another added, while one more said: ‘Congratulations to you and Brad, amazing news!!!! Your new arrival has got awesome parents.’

Eve and Bradley already share their two daughters, Matilda and Siena.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2013, star together in Keeping Faith – Eve as the titular character and Bradley as her husband Evan.

The popular series follows a solicitor at a family-run law firm (Eve) whose husband (Bradley) disappears whilst she is on maternity leave following the birth of their child.

Elsewhere, the 42-year-old actress is well known for her breakout role as Gwen Cooper in Torchwood alongside John Barrowman’s Captain Jack Harkness.

She went on to make various appearances in Doctor Who, as well as appearing in Broadchurch, and Victoria.

Despite her success, the actress recently admitted that before the script for Keeping Faith came through, she was on the cusp of quitting acting.

‘I was having a bit of a wobble,’ she told Digital Spy. ‘Everything was a bit same-y and I’m the kind of character that likes to be challenged.

‘I’ve been doing this job for more than 20 years and I was thinking about doing something completely different.’

However, once she saw the script, she decided to give it another go – and it’s clearly paid off!
