Keeley Hawes: Bodyguard star steals spotlight in dazzling gown at BAFTA TV Awards 2019

Keeley Hawes, 43, looked incredible at the BAFTA Television Awards 2019 tonight.

The English actress, who has been nominated for two BAFTAs at the star-studded award ceremony, oozed old school glamour in a stunning off-the-shoulder number.

Her shimmery silver gown was nipped in at the waist, highlighting her slim figure, before falling to the floor and pooling into a small train.

The Bodyguard star wore her short hair in a classic retro style of curls and completed her glamorous look with a slick of red lipstick and a flick of black eyeliner.

Keeley is nominated for Best Lead Actress for her part in BBC drama Bodyguard as well as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Mrs Wilson at tonight’s award show.

The London-born star played Home Secretary Julia Montague in the BBC drama alongside Richard Madden, who took on the role of PS David Budd.

The Bodyguard has been nominated for six awards in total including the Virgin Media’s must-see moment for her character’s death scene.

The talented actress already has one BAFTA Television Award to her name after winning the Best Lead Actress accolade back in 2015 for her role on Line of Duty.

Bodyguard’s biggest competition on the night will be Killing Eve, which has received the most nominations at the prestigious Royal Festival Hall event.

The BBC drama secured 15 nominations for the show with co-stars Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer going head-to-head with Keeley for the Best Lead Actress award.

The trio are also up against Ruth Wilson who played her own grandmother in BBC drama Mrs Wilson.
