Keanu Reeves has been granted a temporary restraining order against a man who allegedly made multiple unwanted appearances at his home.

The actor, 58, best known for his role as Neo in The Matrix saga, said the alleged incidents had caused him to be ‘substantially alarmed, annoyed, and distressed’.

In court documents obtained by PA, Reeves claimed that Brian Keith Dixon, 38, had visited his Los Angeles property six times – once sleeping in the back garden.

Each of the incidents is said to have occurred in the three-month period between November of last year and January 2023.

The temporary restraining order, which lasts until a court date on February 24, states that Dixon must remain 100 yards away from Keanu at all times.

The documents also stated that during the second visit, Dixon had left a backpack on the property that included ‘bizarre’ items including a DNA testing kit inside.

Dixon is said to have posted ‘incoherently on social media’, referring to himself as Jasper Keith Reeves, ‘indicating a belief that he is related to the John Wick star.

In a statement, Keanu said: ‘Over the past few months, there have been multiple incidents in which [Dixon] visited my home uninvited.’

‘He trespassed onto my property, sought access to my home, and sought to contact me,’ the statement continued.

Keanu recounted the ‘harassing, disturbing and threatening actions’ he endured during the final weeks of 2022 and the first few weeks of 2023.

‘I want to protect my partner and friends who reside or spend time at my home,’ the Bill and Ted actor concluded.

In 2016, Keanu called the police after a stranger turned up to his house with a ‘strange package’ that related to his role in The Matrix movies.

TMZ reported at the time that a man delivered an envelope to Keanu’s house which contained information about a ‘new world’ he was building.

In recent weeks, a stalker who left The Crown actress Claire Foy feeling ‘fearful’ was given a suspended prison sentence and voluntarily deported to the US.

Jason Penrose, 49, will be moved to Florida, where his mother resides, after he sent thousands of emails and turned up outside the Golden Globe winner’s home.
