Katya Jones, 30, stepped out wearing her wedding ring today as she prepared for the fourth Strictly Come Dancing 2019 live show. The professional dancer and her ex Neil Jones, 37, announced their decision to separate in a joint statement on social media back in August. However, Katya has been seen with her ring back on her left hand in spite of the split. The star, who is dancing with Mike Bushell in this year’s series, was pictured smiling for cameras in the snap as she put her jewellery on display.
Katya dressed for the season in a black and grey leopard print jacket with a fur-trimmed hood.
She paired it with a grey turtleneck and red leather skirt, which she wore with black tights.
The brunette beauty wore her hair loose around her shoulders and opted for a minimal makeup look.
Katya’s outing with her wedding ring comes just a day after Neil was spotted returning to his dance partner Alex Scott’s home.
The duo, who are competing together on Strictly, had spent the day rehearsing for their performance in tonight’s show.
In pictures obtained by The Sun, it appeared they went back to Alex’s house to get changed, as they both then left in completely different outfits and looked dressed up for a night out.
Neil swapped his tracksuit bottoms and T-shirt for a dapper suit which he accessorised with a patterned tie.
The former Arsenal footballer wore an elegant floor-length gown which she paired with heels.
According to the publication, the pair headed to the Royal Albert Hall for the International Ballroom Dancing Championships.
After their night out, they went back to Alex’s home where they both reportedly entered at around 11pm.
Alex hasn’t disclosed her relationship status, while Neil is single following his split with Katya.
Responding to questions about whether he had been laughing at his ex, Neil took to Twitter to explain himself.
“So everyone is clear no one was [laughing] at @Mrs_katjones fall on Saturday,” he told his 65,000 followers.
“We were [laughing] at the fact she styled it out and still made @mikebreakfast finished the routine,” he insisted.
“And then we all said fall when she got into Claudia’s area so she did as a joke and that’s why were were [laughing] again.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2019 continues Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.
