Katy Perry jokes she’s ‘had it’ with pregnancy while shopping for baby supplies

Katy Perry is set to give birth any moment but it seems the pop star is growing impatient.

On Thursday, the “Smile” singer joked that she has “had it” with pregnancy as she awaits the birth of her daughter, who is due to arrive sometime this summer.

Perry shared a photo on Instagram of herself during a shopping trip to buy baby supplies.

In the image, Perry can be seen dressed in grey hoodie, matching leggings, green slides, a white face mask and a blue baseball cap.

Surrounded by soft toys, cribs and baby playpens, the Roar singer is pictured reclining in a rocking chair with her eyes closed and her feet resting on a foot stool.

She tagged her location as “I’ve Had It,” and captioned the snapshot: “Poopedstar.”

Perry announced she was expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom in March, when she unveiled her growing baby bump in a music video for the single “Never Worn White”.

While the singer has not publicly shared her exact due date, during an Instagram Live chat with fans following the announcement, she revealed the baby would be arriving “this summer”.

Perry recently opened up about her pregnancy journey and said she is “really grateful” for her body.

“Going through this process you get a whole new viewpoint,” the American Idol judge said during a chat with the Kyle and Jackie O Australian radio show in July.

The singer explained that she was at that point in her pregnancy where “everything is swollen”.

”My hands are swollen, my feet are starting to swell,“ she said, adding that she’s now having to wear sandals everywhere.

While this is the first child for Perry, it will be the second for Bloom, who is also father to his nine-year-old son Flynn Christopher, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

The actor has spoken about how much he is looking forward to bonding with his newborn daughter.

During an interview with Good Morning America, he said: “I’m excited. It’s a magical time when an angel pops into the planet, which is what it feels like.”

The Pirates of the Caribbean star added that he is happily anticipating “those quiet times at home”.

“Just you and the family and the little one, and nursing and just sort of being present and seeing where you can help and what you can do to nurture the life into the world,” Bloom said, explaining that he’s even looking forward to late night bottle feeds.
