Katy Perry is in court battling a copyright infringement case.

The California Gurl is currently at odds with Christian rap artist Marcus Gray, AKA Flame, over her 2013 song Dark Horse.

The 34-year-old singer/entrepreneur looked sharp as she arrived at the LA Federal Courthouse in a mint green blazer and matching trousers on Thursday.

Set the testify today, Katy looked calm and collected in her fresh ensemble.

Adding a subdued twist to her signature style, she added white cat-eyed sunnies and retro looking earrings in a sea foam tint.

Quirky see-through heels completed her look while her hair was styled into a tousled chin-length platinum bob.

Gray’s suit against Katy began in 2014, when he alleged that the artist ripped off his Grammy-nominated gospel track Joyful Noise in her 2013 song Dark Horse.

The Christian rapper’s track was first uploaded to YouTube in 2008, putting it years ahead of Perry’s single.

Gray is also suing controversial producer Lukasz ‘Dr. Luke’ Gottwald and rapper Juicy J, who is featured on the track.

Flame’s accusations don’t stop there.

He also says Katy is responsible for significant damage to his reputation in the Christian music world because he is now associated with the occult themes in Katy’s Dark Horse video and lyrics, according to TMZ.

Meanwhile, Katy is staunchly denying that there are any significant similarities between the tracks.

The case largely rests on convincing jurors that Perry, Dr. Luke and/or Juicy J had previously heard Joyful Noise.

According to the Hollywood Reporter U.S. District Court Judge Christina Snyder previously denied Perry’s motion for a summary judgement saying ‘demonstrated a triable issue of fact as to access because “Joyful Noise” achieved critical success, including a Grammy nomination, and was readily available and viewed millions of times on YouTube and MySpace,’ meaning there was enough of a chance of Perry and co. hearing the song to warrant the trail.

Jurors will be questioned about their use of MySpace, Facebook and YouTube to determine how familiar they are with music streaming. Other questions for potential jurors include their experience on previous juries, as well as matters of employment and family life.

The American Idol judge had previously asked for discussions of her wealth to be banned from the discussion, according to documents obtained by The Blast.

The artist contended that Perry’s wealth was irrelevant to the case and any reference to her means would only serve to bias the jury to award high damages.

Perry is reportedly worth a whopping $330million, purported to earn $20million a season on American Idol.
