Katy Perry has revealed Ariana Grande once paid for her and Orlando Bloom’s meal, and that the couple are huge fans of the God Is A Woman star.
Speaking on the Ellen K Morning Show, Katy, 34, shared the anecdote which left Orlando’s eight-year-old son Flynn in awe of how cool his dad’s celebrity connections are.
She revealed: ‘Two weeks ago, I was at sushi and I ran into Ariana Grande. At the end of my long meal with Orlando and his son, we finished after an hour-and-a-half and we asked for the check.
‘They were like, “Ariana Grande has taken care of it.” And we were like, “Oh my god! That is so cool!” Orlando’s son is eight, so he was like, “Dope.”
‘But that is such a boss move and such a cute gesture.’
She added that Orlando, 42, is now a massive fan of Ari, 26, explaining: ‘Orlando was like, “Man, I have such mad respect for her.” She was so kind. I love little things like that.’
While paying for the bill probably isn’t a huge issue given that Katy and Orlando have an estimated £300 million fortune between them, getting a surprise treat from a fellow star is an unexpected treat nonetheless.

Katy and Ariana also had a hilarious Twitter exchange last year, during Ari’s phase of having every jacket and hoody she ever wore hanging below her shoulders.
Commenting on one of the pics, Katy wrote: ‘can you put on your jacket once please just once’, to which Ari replied ‘no’.
Katy also opened up about her new single Small Talk, revealing: ‘It’s such a bizarre thing that we have to go through, not all of us, some people get lucky and marry their first love and stay with them forever.
‘If you’re in the dating scene and you haven’t landed on the one, you go through this weird human experiment where you reveal your whole self to a person, you are so intimate with them and sometimes it doesn’t work out.
‘You move on with your life, but you end up bumping into them.’
