Katie Price has urged everyone to ‘be kind’ as she posted on Instagram for the first time since appearing in court after a dramatic 24 hours.
The former glamour model, 46, appeared remotely at a hearing in a specialist bankruptcy court after she was arrested at Heathrow Airport.
Police had been waiting for Price on the tarmac to return from her trip to Turkey with her boyfriend JJ Slater, 31, where she had a £10,000 facelift.
They were carrying out orders from a judge who last month issued a warrant for her arrest for failing to attend a previous hearing.
After her hearing yesterday, Price reposted a message from Jedward on Instagram, which appeared to refer to her legal woes.
They said: ‘Everyone please be kind to Katie Price. It’s a delicate situation and she deserves support and love.
‘Please be sensitive, she’s a human and mum with a massive heart and deserves respect. Sending strength to her kids and family.’
Price published a second post from the X Factor stars which read: ‘A true icon that has been through a lot we all need to lift her up in this fragile time!
‘No one else could deal with the pressure and scrutiny! Let’s all surround Katie with Love.’
On Friday, Price attended court in London and was told by a judge at the hearing that there would be ‘no ifs, no buts’ and she must attend a ‘public examination’ on August 27.
The mother-of-five confirmed that she understood that she must attend and later added: ‘I will move my diary for it.’
