Katie Price has released a teaser of her new single Hurricane ahead of her big return to pop – and fans are absolutely loving her new sound.

The My Crazy Life star debuted the track for a few lucky fans at a Mallorca pool party earlier this month, but it’s now set to hit the airwaves for the rest of us mere mortals.

In a snippet shared on Instagram, Katie sings: ‘I’m coming for the Hurricane, I’m drifting,’ against an Ibiza-esque club beat produced by Rick Live.

Hurricane has received rave reviews from Katie’s followers, many of whom admit their surprise at the popstar’s trendy dance sound.

One of the singer’s fans commented: ‘I like it it’s catchy,’ while another agreed: ‘Actually sounds sick #shockedface.’

Predicting plenty of spins across Ibiza clubs this summer, one of Katie’s followers chimed in: ‘Actually sounds like a decent summer ibiza tune,’ while a DJ said: ‘Deffo sticking this in my House sets when it drops!!’

Of course, not everyone was a fan of Katie’s efforts but she was defended by one fan who said: ‘If you cant say anything nice perhaps its best to say nothing. See no point in the constant negative posts, if you dont like what she does then just let it pass you by [sic].’

News of Katie’s return to music was revealed last month, with a source telling The Sun: ‘Katie has wanted to get back into the studio for a while and she’s finally ready to relaunch her music career.

‘She’s loved being back in the studio and has already started recording new songs – it could lead to a new album!’

Hopefully it’ll fare better than Katie’s past attempts at pop.

In 2005, the 41-year-old famously launched a campaign to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest while pregnant with son Junior.

Most notably, the former Loose Women host collaborated with her then-husband Peter Andre on the warbling ballad A Whole New World, before releasing Free To Love Again in 2010, which peaked at number 60 on the charts.

Undeterred from her past pop failures, Katie dropped the song I Got U in 2017 complete with a performance on Loose Women.
