Katie Price has been seen for the first time since undergoing a string of cosmetic procedures in Turkey.
The 40-year-old recently jetted off to Istanbul to go under the knife for ‘liposuction’ as well as a ‘tummy tuck’, and reportedly also had a face lift, bum implants and surgery on her eyebrows and eyelids while she was out there.
In pictures obtained by The Sun, the mum-of-five could be seen sporting blood-soaked bandages as she left the operating room.
In one snap, the reality star steadied herself on a door frame while clutching two surgical drains full of blood.
However, it seems those closest to her were not happy with her decision to go under the knife.
‘Katie has been planning this face lift for a while but family and friends tried to talk her out of it,’ an insider claimed. ‘They’re all worried about her having unnecessary surgery. The toll on her body – especially having more than one procedure in one day – is immense.
‘She had all over body lipo too, because she’s impatient and didn’t want to wait for results in the gym. She’s all about quick fix solutions.
‘Kris and her mum are furious about it but can’t stop her,’ they added to the publication. ‘She won’t stop until she thinks her body is perfect. The problem is, everyone is worried she will never be happy.’
Katie’s surgery comes after she opened up about her figure, during an appearance on Loose Women, branding herself disgusting.
The Celebrity Big Brother winner told the panel: ‘Not that it matters and people shouldn’t go on the scales but I’m normally 52kgs. I’m now 63.
‘Normally it’s always been about my body. I’ve never ever ever had to worry.
‘Everyone used to say, “You wait until you get to 40” I was like, “Nah. I just eat what I want”. But overnight’s it’s just changed. I have put on weight and I look disgusting at the moment.’
Despite having gone under the knife multiple times already, the businesswoman has previously insisted she isn’t addicted to cosmetic surgery.
‘I’ve seen psychologists about it for a TV show and they said I wasn’t,’ she said. ‘I just look to improve how I look. I just seem like I have loads of work done because I’m open about it.
‘I was talking to a well-known celebrity recently and I asked her where she gets her lips and fillers done, and she was like: “Me? I don’t have it done.” And it’s so obvious that she does! Why deny it?’
Katie’s reps have declined to comment.
