KATIE Price is set to finalise her divorce from ex-husband Kieran Hayler within weeks.
The Sun Online can reveal Kieran has now given up hope of ever retrieving money he claimed he was owed by his bankrupt ex.

Instead the 32-year-old has told solicitors he wants the separation officially sorted out as quickly as possible.
He’s believed to also be growing increasingly close to girlfriend of 18-months Michelle Penticost, and the split would pave the way for them to “take things to the next level.”
Meanwhile sources say the divorce is equally important to Katie, 41, who vowed to “wipe the slate clean in 2020” and start over again.
Katie’s impending split with Kieran comes seven years after the pair wed. They went on to have two kids, Jett and Bunny.

A pal told Sun Online: “Katie is desperate to get the divorce sorted out…she has been for ages.
“But the whole thing was being held up because Kieran was holding out on hopefully getting some money he believed he was owed.
“However with Katie’s current financial problems he knows there is no chance that will happen so he has accepted it is simply better just to move on and get on with his life.
“The divorce is also important to Michelle. She adores Kieran and a lot of their friends expect them to go on and get engaged this year.

“But they obviously can’t do that and take things to the next level until things are sorted out with Katie.
“For Katie the divorce is massively important too. She has vowed to make 2020 a new start and that means letting go off the past and sorting out her problems.
“Getting her money straight, sorting out what’s happening with her house and finalising the divorce were very much at the top of her to-do list.”
Our story comes days after Katie, 41, joked to fans in Liverpool that she may “turn lesbian”. She made the quip at one of her make-up masterclass roadshows after saying how men had only let her down in her life.
Last year she had a fling with builder Charles Drury, who went on to sell a story saying she was rubbish in bed. And she was on-off-on-off with Kris Boyson.
Yesterday, it was revealed Kris is keen to take her back but Katie, despite posting cryptic messages about a reconciliation, isn’t so sure.

Kieran, who wed Katie in January 2013, left her devastated by cheating on her with her best pal Jane Poutney.
She booted him and gave a series of interviews detailing the pair’s betrayal.
But despite their problems the pair now get on quite well.
“Compared to how Katie gets on with her other ex husbands, Peter [Andre] and Alex [Reid], then her and Kieran are actually quite pally,” the source added.
“The marriage simply never worked and they now accept its time to just move on.”
