Katie Price says son Harvey is in intensive care and in ‘best hands’ after being rushed to hospital

Katie Price has confirmed that her son Harvey, 18, is being treated in intensive care.

The teenager has a number of health issues including partial blindness and the genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome.

He was rushed to hospital on Sunday evening after struggling to breathe, sources told the Sun.

Following speculation that he was at risk of organ failure, Price, 42, shared an update on social media.

She posted on Twitter and Instagram: “I can confirm Harvey is in intensive care and in the best hands and would like to thank the ambulance services and the hospital staff for the quick response and making him stable.”

This is Harvey’s second health scare in recent weeks.

He fell ill at a party for his younger sister Princess’s 13th birthday which was being held at his mother’s rented Surrey Mansion.

He was later discharged after undergoing tests and was said to be home “in time to enjoy a slice of Princess’s birthday cake”.

When approached for comment by the Standard, a spokesperson for Price said the former glamour model was particularly grateful to the ambulance crew that looked after Harvey.

“Harvey will be making a full recovery,” the representative said following the health scare at the end of June.

“Katie knows from experience never to leave anything especially when he is symptomatic to chance.

“The paramedics were simply first class in their care, Katie would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank-you again to our NHS front liners in the amazing selfless work they continue to do.”
