Katie Price has revealed the latest improvement in her home, which has been empty for around a year, as she continues to turn the ‘mucky mansion’ back into a family home.

The former glamour model, 42, had revealed the house had fallen into disrepair while it has been sat empty, including ceilings falling down from burst water pipes and having been broken into and vandalised.

However, she is now planning to make the £2million house liveable once more and move back in with her children and fiancé Carl Woods, 32.

Katie gave fans a glimpse at the beginnings of the transformation, as she freed up one of the large, bright rooms from piles of clutter.

Sharing a before and after shot, Katie revealed: ‘Cleared this room out today its now ready to be decorated. If anybody has any ideas or if there are any companies who want to transform it please get in touch.’

The room, which has large floor-to-ceiling windows and double doors had initially been filled with old furniture and boxes, suitcases, discarded chandeliers and piles of empty clothes hangers.

Following her clear-out, a few items could still be seen at the edges of the room, including a dart board, keyboard and a toy car with the license plate ‘Woods’ on it, which she had decided to keep.

Katie has created a dedicated Instagram account for her home transformation, aiming to turn it from the ‘mucky mansion’ into the ‘plucky mansion’.

She has been working to rid the rooms of the clutter that has accumulated over the years so vital repairs and renovations can take place.

Revealing the project at the start of April, Katie told her followers: ‘So it’s true, I’ve decided to include everyone and want advice and ideas on making a new start on my so called mucky mansion.

‘I want to turn it back into a gorgeous family home again, so please DM me if you have any ideas or if you want the chance to design a room in my house…

‘The whole journey will be filmed with before and after pictures, with everything we use for the transformation from where the products are from to what companies we use and how much it costs…to show that you don’t need to spend a lot to create a perfect home!

‘Me and @carljwoods will also show how good we are at diy lol.’

Until now, Katie has been living between a rented pad and Carl’s house, but the car salesman has since decided to sell up the property and the pair have also been viewing other homes to buy, too.
