Katie Price’s daughter Princess Andre reveals the former glamour model may not be able to walk for a year after breaking both of her feet.
The My Crazy Life star was rushed to hospital last week after jumping over a wall while on holiday in Turkey.
Not realising how far the drop was, Katie ended up breaking both feet and is currently in a wheelchair.
Revealing the extent of her mum’s injury, Princess, 13, told her followers in an Instagram live on Monday: ‘She’ll be in a wheelchair for three to six months – but she won’t walk for a year.’
Katie, 42, revealed the excruciating moment she suffered the serious fall in her latest YouTube video released this week.
‘Silly me, at my age, should calm things down. Basically, silly little accident. I was running and jumped over a wall, as it was a little shortcut, and didn’t really judge the height,’ she explained.
‘I just sort of fell funny on my ankles and I fractured the hairline on my heels and stuff. The hospital here wanted to operate and wanted to put pins in and stuff. Because I’m away, I’d rather wait until I get home.’
She went on to admit that it’s the ‘most painful thing ever’ and recalled ‘screaming’ when she had the cast fitted onto her leg.
‘They said I won’t be able to walk for three to six months,’ she said.
Katie, who is in Turkey with boyfriend Carl Woods, Princess and son Junior, had to spend the night in hospital.
The former Loose Women host first opened up about the ordeal by sharing a photo of her legs in casts. She told her Instagram follower: ‘Yes it’s true I have broken my ankles and my feet , I have to have both feet operated on and pins put in been told I won’t be able to walk for 3 to 6 months.’
Praising her new man, Katie added: ‘@carljwoods is being amazing looking after me ❤️❤️ #reallove #bestgentleman #wordscantdecribemyloveforhim #hismyworld.’
The holiday wasn’t a complete waste though, as Katie did manage to get her veneers redone and, of course, documented the procedure for fans.
