Katie moved out of her £2m ‘mucky mansion’ in Sussex last year while it undergoes renovations and had been staying at a rented home in Surrey with Carl.

The TV personality recently responded to rumours she was expecting her sixth child as she remained coy while appearing on Steph’s Packed Lunch after she shared a cryptic snap cradling her stomach and thanking Carl for being a ‘part of me’.

In October, Katie, who was once worth around £40million, attended a bankruptcy hearing over Zoom during a Maldives getaway where she said she does not live a ‘lavish lifestyle’ after she was officially declared bankrupt in November 2019.

For the day of house hunting, the TV personality cut a casual figure in a pink tracksuit, matching baseball cap and silver sparkly trainers.

Katie styled her cropped brunette locks into a sweptback hairdo, she appeared to go makeup-free.

It comes after Katie was seen visiting her £2m ‘mucky mansion’ in Sussex and even thinking about moving back into the house in a YouTube video posted on Monday.

However, while on a tour of the run-down abode, the former glamour model had to warn her partner to be ‘careful’ as the bathroom floor might ‘cave through’.

Carl gingerly put his foot down on one of the bathroom floors while inspecting the house and working out what could be done decoration wise to improve it.

Being wary not to put too much weight on the ground, Carl laughed as he turned to the camera and said: ‘I’m a bit worried it’s gonna cave through’

Katie, who bought the sprawling country house back in 2014, could then be heard shouting from off camera: ‘It might! Be careful.’

As the duo walked around the spacious family home, Carl suggested ideas of what they could do to make it liveable again saying it looks ‘better every time you walk in here’ as the couple have been clearing out Katie’s belongings.

The hunk suggested that Katie could ‘carpet and paint it’ so it was a bit easier to sell or even paint the entire house white to make a blank canvas for them.

Carl said: ‘Why don’t you paint the whole house white so it’s a blank canvas? You’ll probably feel different about it then’.

Seemingly surprised at his suggestion that they could consider moving back into the home together, Katie said she wasn’t sure the idea would float with her children.

Katie, who admitted all the houses they’ve been viewing are similar to the large ‘mucky mansion’, told Carl: ‘You reckon start this again? The kids hate his house.’

Carl then told his love: ‘And I don’t want people thinking “oh look at him wanting to move into her house”.’

And Katie replied: ‘You think it’s a waste don’t you.’

However she later admitted that it could be a potential idea, so long as everything changed in the decoration and layout of the huge home.

Katie said: ‘For me to move in the house, nothing at all could be the same. Because of my mental health, it just reminds me of situations and I don’t like it.’

And it seems the emptier the ‘mucky mansion’ gets, the more Katie could come round to the idea of moving back as on her latest trip she declared: ‘I haven’t moaned once and I f*****g hate this house.’

The mum-of-five also pleaded with her fans for ideas about how to fix the mansion during the video, even asking if anyone would like to decorate a room for her.

She explained that she’d be happy for anyone to take on a room so each space in the house looked different and would like to get ideas from builders.

Katie moved out of the £2m Sussex property last year while it undergoes renovations and has been staying at a rented home in Surrey with her boyfriend.

The home is just 10 minutes from her ex-husband Peter Andre, 47, whom she shares children Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, with.

In a YouTube video, Katie explained: ‘This house was burgled. So much s*** has gone. Even hard drives have gone. Oh well, if anyone wants to go through my old photos go for it. If it makes you feel good.’

Filming herself leaving the property, she added: ‘It feels good not to be in that s***hole, horrible house.’

This was the third time the ‘mucky mansion’ has been burgled, following reports of two break-ins within a matter of weeks last summer.

Katie has vowed to renovate and sell the house, with doctors demanding she doesn’t return for the sake of her mental health.

Over the past few months, the TV star’s abode stood decrepit and unkempt with abandoned facilities amid her recent financial woes.

Renovations kicked off in June 2019, but the influencer was left devastated when the ‘mucky mansion’ was broken into and destroyed by intruders a year later.

In June 2020, thieves broke in to steal her I’m A Celebrity rucksack and put the shower head over the ceiling which caused the bathroom to flood and the ceiling to collapse.

Just weeks later, she suffered a fresh blow as thieves broke in again, and she vowed to up security after a neighbour witnessed three men on her private property.

Katie told The Sun at the time: ‘I’ve already contacted police and told them all this.

‘I’ve got someone going to my house to put a padlock on the bottom of the field gate, it looks like people are wrecking my property to go in again.’

According to the publication, a neighbour saw three men emerge from a black BMW.

The neighbour reported shouting at one of them to get off private property, only for them to reply they were looking for a toilet.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Katie, as a result of the recent invasion on her property, is ramping up security to maintain a 24 hour surveillance on her house.

‘It was quite clear that these people were not lost or indeed ramblers and were there with intent to raid Katie’s property. The neighbours are also close friends of Katie’s and raised the alarm.’

In October, Katie extended her holiday at a £1,400-a-night Maldives retreat by a week after telling her bankruptcy hearing that she does not live a ‘lavish lifestyle’ over video chat.

The model, who has since returned to London with Carl, said ’90 per cent’ of her globe-trotting was for business and that her stay at the five-star resort was a ‘work assignment’.

Katie had been flaunting her luxury-laced holiday on Instagram, showing her relaxing on yachts or pool-side. It is believed to be her sixth holiday since being declared bankrupt in November 2019.

The mother-of-five, who was once worth around £40million, appeared before a bankruptcy hearing after her jet-setting was brought to the attention of judges through an anonymous tip-off.

At the hearing, Price dismissed the accusation from the anonymous tip-off that she enjoys a glamorous lifestyle, according to The Sun.

She told the hearing taking place in London of her mental health struggles, which she claimed was the reason for not dealing with her bankruptcy.

She told a previous hearing in July that she had ‘lost everything’ and suffered a ‘bad breakdown’ last year, following which she spent five weeks in rehab at The Priory.

Price said: ‘It is a long and tense process but I feel progress is now being made. I can only apologise, I just haven’t been able to deal with these issues or in the right mental state to understand everything that has been going on.’

The former model also reminded the hearing: ‘In the past, at the height of my career, I was a model and massive taxpayer.’

Price said she had considered selling her notorious pink Range Rover but that it is not roadworthy so has ‘no value other than sentimental value’.

At a hearing in October 2018, Price struck a deal with the taxman to gradually repay her mounting debts, but failed to stick to the plan, leading to her being declared bankrupt in November 2019.

Janet Hallamore, for the Official Receiver, told the judge that there are now three issues to resolve, involving Ms Price’s ‘income and expenditure’, how she has been funding recent holidays, and the ‘theft of jewellery’.

Ms Price said she had reported her ‘lost and stolen jewellery’ to the police more than six months ago and said her home has also been ‘subject to vandalism’.

She added: ‘I appreciate I have not been easy to communicate with and hard to track down, but I have not hidden.

‘I will work hard to make this right, however long this takes.’

At the time, it was reported that Price would not due to be discharged from her bankruptcy until November 2020 and is supposed to pay any money she makes to creditors.

This includes both earnings through work or any income from selling her belongings.

But a source previously told the Sun that Price was relaxed during the holiday to the Maldives as it had been paid for by Woods.

Price has been beset by financial woes during the past few years as high-paid work seemed to dry up.

She used to fund her lifestyle through modelling, reality TV shows and fragrances at the height of her fame in the 1990s and 2000s.

Nowadays her main cash flow appears to be her Quest Red TV show My Crazy Life, her YouTube channel and plugging paid products on her Instagram account.
