Katie Price has reportedly demanded her former husbands, Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler, pay her back the £2 million that she claims to have spent on them.
The former glamour model was declared bankrupt on Tuesday, after she failed to pay off £12,000 in debt every month for four years to her creditors after taking out an individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) last year – and she also risks having her remaining assets taken away to pay off her debts, as well as losing her infamous ‘mucky mansion’.
Now Katie is said to want money from both Peter and Kieran as she had ‘bankrolled them for years’, according to The Sun.
‘[Katie’s] told both of them [Peter and Kieran] that she expects some cash from them as she bankrolled them for years when they were married,’ a source told the publication.
‘It’s payback time. She says she spent a fortune falling in love with the wrong men – now it’s time to get what she’s owed.’
It comes after it was claimed that the star had also been asking her friends for loans.
‘Katie’s been asking friends for loans, saying that she she’s already got several business ideas in the pipeline and that she’ll make her millions back in no time,’ an insider shared with The Sun.
‘She’s saying that Pricey will be back on top in no time, so they’ll get all their money back soon – probably with interest.
‘The thing is, Katie’s not really taking any of it seriously – she is treating it like a temporary thing, not a serious financial problem.’
Just one day before she was declared bankrupt, the 41-year-old had reportedly told commuters on a train between London and Ebbsfleet that she blamed Peter – who she was married to between 2005 and 2010 – for her financial issues and regrets turning down reality shows that could have helped pay off her debts.
‘Tomorrow, I’m being declared bankrupt. Even though I’m not bothered,’ she said.
‘I’ve known it’s coming, going bankrupt, because I took him [Peter Andre] to court. He’s the worst person ever.
‘I f*****g can’t wait. I’m better off. I know I shouldn’t say it. It’s good for me. It’s better than paying two and a half grand a month to f*****g HMRC. I’m not worried.’
Despite the threat of bankruptcy, Katie has been carrying out renovations on her Sussex mansion, believed to be in an effort to sell the house.
The mum-of-five also recently underwent multiple cosmetic surgery procedures – although some of these are believed to be free.
