Katie Price, Piers Morgan, Joe Sugg, Lisa Snowdon and more stars once again joined the nation to pay tribute to brave NHS staff as they took part in Clap for Carers tonight.

For the third week in a row, households around the UK came together at 8pm to clap for the NHS and all health care workers on the front line as they continue to risk their lives to help fight Covid-19.

Katie, 41, and her the 17-year-old Harvey – who has learning difficulties – were ready and waiting as the time came to clap.

She posted a video to her Instagram page as the pair stood outside the home they are self-isolating in with friends.

Katie shouted: ‘Come on Harv, we’ve got to clap for the NHS all the doctors and nurses. Big thank you.. what do we say to them?’

Harvey then shouted: ‘Thank you NHS!’

Lisa Snowdon, Piers Morgan, Henry Holland, Joe Sugg and his girlfriend Dianne Buswell also shared clips of themselves at home while claps could be heard in the background.

Carrie Symonds – the pregnant fiancee of Prime Minister Boris Johnson – also acknowledged the movement as she shared a tweet with followers.

Sharing a picture of a rainbow painting, she simply captioned it with a row of the clapping hands emoji.

Her tweet came after it was revealed that PM Boris has been moved out of intensive care and will now continue his fight against coronavirus on a general ward.

Like the rest of the nation, our stars are staying at home under new lockdown measures in place by the government in a bid to control the spread of Covid-19.

Schools are currently closed, as are bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants and gyms and people are being told not to leave their homes unless shopping for essentials or once a day to exercise.
