But Katie Holmes and her long-term beau Jamie Foxx appeared happier than ever as they strolled through New York City together on Tuesday afternoon.
The actress, 40, cut a very casual figure as she rocked a slouchy grey quarter zip jumper with a pair of baggy sweatpants in the same hue.

Appearing to go incognito for their rare outing together, Katie wore a white and navy cap with a green logo as well as a pair of dark oversized shades.
She draped a leather bag across her body with featured a striking red strap and chunky silver zips, where she kept hold of her belongings.
The mother-of-one opted for comfort during her walk with Jamie, as she rocked a pair of white trainers with the classic three stripes.

Jamie, 51, rocked a black slogan T-shirt with a pair of dark jeans, which he wore with a cool black leather coat and stylish shades.
Katie and Jamie stepped out earlier this week with his daughter Corinne, 25, for the first time, hinting that their relationship is very much serious.
An eyewitness told Dailymail.com that Jamie and Katie walked hand-in-hand together as the trio stopped by the Westfield Century City Mall for a bite to eat and spent four hours there.
They then made their way back to the Annenberg Space for Photography, where Jamie had parked his Lamborghini, with a quick stop at gelato spot Bacio di Latte for a sweet treat.
Meanwhile, the couple – who are based on separate coasts; Katie in New York and Jamie in LA – are said to feel strongly about keeping their romance private for the sake of their kids.
‘They keep it private and protect it for the most part because they don’t want to disrupt either of their families,’ a source told Us Weekly.

Katie is mom to daughter Suri, 12, from her marriage to Tom Cruise and Jamie is dad to Corinne and Annalise, nine, from previous relationships.
Despite their long-term relationship, the actors are rarely seen together.
‘When they can spend time together, they do,’ a source told People last week. ‘When they’re busy and they can’t, they don’t. They are two adults who enjoy each other’s company and have for a long time.’
The actors were first seen dancing together in 2013 in the New York area after she divorced Tom Cruise.
