Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are reported to have split several months ago, ending their relationship after six years together.
Rumours of the break-up were sparked over the weekend when Jamie, 51, was pictured out partying with aspiring model and singer Sela Vave in Los Angeles while Katie remained in New York.
Sources now claim Katie, 40, told friends at the weekend that she and the Ray actor had split earlier this year.
According to Page Six, the actress dined at La Esquina with friends on Saturday and allegedly told her gal pals: ‘What Jamie does is his business – we haven’t been together for months’.
The publication also claims to have spoken to Katie’s friend on the phone who allegedly revealed that the couple split in May, a few weeks after their joint appearance at the Met Gala.
E! News also claims to have word from sources that the pair ended their long-term romance in May.
Katie and Jamie walked the red carpet alone at the star-studded event in NYC but then posed for photos together inside the party, marking their first official outing together as a couple.
The Hollywood stars began dating in 2013, a year after Katie divorced ex-husband Tom Cruise, who also happened to be Jamie’s co-star in the 2011 movie Collateral.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Jamie was seen leaving LA’s Bootsy Bellows with Sela after attending Lil Pump’s 19th birthday party.
Jamie seemed protective of Sela in the midst of the paparazzi swarm and held onto her hand at one point as they navigated their way to a waiting car.
Hours later in NYC, Katie was seen smiling as she headed to dinner with some friends.
In recent years, Katie and Jamie had become slightly more relaxed about showing affection for each other in public and were often seen enjoying cosy dates together, including a romantic day at the beach in California and even spending time as a couple with Jamie’s eldest daughter Corinne Foxx.
