Katherine Schwarzenegger enjoys a stroll with her mom Maria Shriver and three-month-old daughter

Katherine Schwarzenegger enjoyed a leisurely stroll with her four-month daughter Lyla around their Brentwood neighborhood on Saturday afternoon. 

The 30-year-old The Gift Of Forgiveness podcast host was joined by her mom Maria Shriver, who appeared to be reveling in her new role as a first-time grandmother.

As the mother-daughter duo strolled closely together, the journalist, 65, adoringly gazed at the black stroller toting her eldest child’s firstborn with Chris Pratt.

For their walk, the author paired a white t-shirt and black leggings with a baseball cap from the University of Michigan, where her brother Christopher graduated in May. 

Meanwhile, Shriver also rocked a sported chic ensemble, black sunglasses and her light brown hair in loose waves. 

Schwarzenegger’s outing comes after she interviewed WWE twins Nikki and Brie Bella about postpartum depression over Instagram on Thursday

The daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger never said that she herself had the condition, but Nikki and Brie both have.

Ever the sensitive gentleman, husband Chris Pratt took to the comments to tell his wife how lovely she looked during the conversation. 

Pratt, who is the father of Schwarzenegger’s baby, warmly commented: ‘I like your outfit you look so good honey.’

She was warding off the autumn chill in a comfy-looking pastel sweater, adding a touch of dazzle with a couple of necklaces and a pair of hoop earrings. 

Nikki and Brie gave birth one day apart on July 31 and August 1, just a few days before Katherine welcomed her own bundle of joy. 

Brie endured postpartum depression three years ago after welcoming her daughter Birdie with her husband and fellow WWE star Daniel Bryan.

However she was spared the ordeal when she gave birth to their son Buddy this August, and she theorized that ‘maybe it was being a new mom’ that contributed to her experiencing the illness only after her firstborn arrived.

She explained that part of her mental state while depressed was ‘FOMO of the old you – who you were before your pregnancy, who you were before your child came into your life,’ and yet ‘you’re too embarrassed to kind of say it out loud, ’cause then everyone’s gonna be like: “Oh, do you hate your baby?”‘

Now she wishes she had ‘let go and like really, you know, enjoyed motherhood more with Birdie like I’m doing now with Buddy instead of trying to just not let go of like who I was before like Birdie came into my life.’

Meanwhile Nikki whose firstborn child Matteo was born a day before Buddy is currently coping with her own bout of postpartum depression.

Chris briefly traveled to London in July for the shoot of Jurassic World: Dominion but was back home before Lyla’s birth.

He also has an eight-year-old son called Jack Pratt by his first wife Anna Faris whom he was married to from 2009 to 2018.

Katherine married Chris last year at Montecito’s San Ysidro Ranch.
