Katherine Jenkins was reportedly left shaken after stepping into help an elderly woman being robbed, before being mugged herself.
The opera singer was involved in a street theft on King’s Road in Chelsea on Wednesday while making her way to Straubenzee Memorial Charity Carol Service, where she was performing.
According to MailOnline, Katherine was mugged by a girl gang, after seeing the elderly woman being attacked and stepping in to help.
A spokesperson for the 39-year-old confirmed the incident to the publication, but couldn’t further comment as an investigation into the attack is still ongoing.
It’s reported Katherine helped the police to identify the attackers and two 15-year-old girls were later arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Scotland Yard has confirmed their arrests.

Katherine is busy preparing for her festive show at Royal Albert Hall on 12 December – Christmas with Katherine Jenkins and Friends.
She had shared her excitement over taking to the stage in London on Instagram, telling fans earlier this week: ’10 days until my @royalalberthall show and I’m more excited for this than Christmas.’
In a video, Katherine revealed she’ll be singing Christmas music, both ‘traditional and modern’, and will perform a series of duets on stage that she hopes will get everyone into the ‘Christmas spirit’.
Proving she is still feeling festive, despite her scary ordeal, Katherine shared an Instagram snap of her children’s elf on the shelf causing mischief, and making a mess with toilet roll on the stairs, a day after the attack.
She shares two children Aailyah, four, and Xander, one, with husband Andrew Levitas.
