Kate Wright enjoys epic hen weekend with 16 pals and a Rio Ferdinand cuddly toy

Ahead of Kate Wright’s wedding to Rio Ferdinard, the former Towie star has shared pictures from her epic hen weekend to Mykonos where the girls enjoyed nights out, selfies, and a gorgeous Greek villa.

We’re not at all jealous.

Kate and 16 of her closest pals – including Towie pal Saffron Lempriere – jetted out to the island for a huge party and as they made their way on to the plane, Kate was gifted a jacket which read ‘Mrs Ferdy To Be’.

Oh, and a cuddly toy sporting a mankini which had Rio’s face stuck on the front, and a suitcase with the former footballer’s face on it.

Sharing snaps on Instagram, Kate wrote: ‘Me & the girls ready for my #MrsFerdytobe … we decided to have a social media detox to actually enjoy ourselves rather than be on our phones checking Instagram 24/7.’

‘Be prepared for a LOT of piks (sic),’ she added, revealing the detox was now over before taking to her Stories to share all the behind the scenes fun including a night out at the famed Interni restaurant.

Kate shared the same photos and wrote: ‘The perfect end to our holiday… How could the answer not be yes.’

The adorable photos showed Rio and Kate, 27, embracing in front of a stunning view on what appears to be the roof of the St Regis Hotel.
Rio’s children Lorenz, 12, Tate, 10, and Tia, seven, watched on and clapped, before joining their dad and soon-to-be-stepmum for a group hug.

The couple have been dating for nearly three years, after initially keeping their romance a secret.

They met in January 2017 in Dubai, and kept their blossoming relationship out of the public eye until going public on social media that August.

Kate decided that she would be stepping back from the spotlight to focus on her relationship, saying: ‘I’m taking a step back from the public eye, I want to keep my life private as I lived my previous relationship on Towie, my priority right now is Rio and the family.’
