The former glamour model, 42, confided in her Instagram fans about personally delivering bathbombs to people’s homes.
But many people shutdown her idea on social media as they claimed it would break coronavirus guidelines to receive a parcel from the giddy reality star.
Determined, Katie wasn’t put off from performing her act of kindness for her biggest fans.
Instead the reality queen dialled the police on herself.
Wide-eyed and jaw open, her youngest daughter Bunny couldn’t hide her surprise at the police call.
Katie even shared the onslaught of social media complaints she had received about her plans.
Also, the TV sensation explained her mother Amy has a terminal illness and she doesn’t want to make her sick.
She said: “I’m not doing anything to break Covid because my mum is terminally ill, that’s why I’m checking with you guys.”
But police gave her the green light to deliver her packages while filming.
The police officer told her: “I would say you are allowed to do it because of your business. I will put an information job on and this is what you are going to do.”
Taking every precaution, the I’m A Celebrity star wore her mask and she was social distancing at all times.
Excited Katie shared the heart-warming moment she delivered packages to squealing fans on their door steps.
One house after the next, the TV star enjoyed brightening up her fans’ days.
She told one fan: “I checked with police because everyone complained when I put it on social media, and they said it was fine because I was filming.”
