The Duchess of Cambridge arrived with her husband The Duke of Cambridge to attend a commemorative ceremony in central London to mark Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday afternoon.
Kate cut an elegant figure in a belted grey coat dress with black velvet collar from Catherine Walker, one of her favourite designers.
She paired the look with sheer black tights, black suede court shoes and a sleek black vinyl box clutch.
Kate kept the look appropriately formal and refined with her hair pulled back off her face in a semi up-do and some pretty flower-shaped pearl earrings from Cassandra Goad.
She last wore the Cavolfiore Pearl Studs for Prince Louis’ christening. The earrings are available to order from £4,360. They are constructed of 18ct yellow gold and set with seven pearls set with diamonds (0.3cts).
The royals met Olivia Marks-Woldman, chief executive of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, as well as survivor and trust honorary president Sir Ben Helfgott at Central Hall on Monday afternoon ahead of the service which this year marks 75 years since the liberation of notorious concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
The outing comes as powerful portraits of two ‘life-affirming’ Holocaust survivors taken by Kate were released to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Nazi concentration camps.
Elsewhere, the Duchess of Cornwall will attend commemorations in Poland to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of former Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
