Kate Middleton stuns in white Catherine Walker coat at Order of the Garter ceremony

Kate Middleton stepped out with members of the British royal family on Monday afternoon for the Order of the Garter ceremony.

The annual event, which celebrates the most senior order of the chivalry in the UK, took place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, and was also attended by The Queen, Prince William and Prince Charles.

For the occasion, the duchess cut a chic figure in a perfectly tailored white coat dress with black trim by Catherine Walker, a British label often favoured by the duchess, which was also a go-to designer for her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

The ‘Liza’ coat featured a flattering peplum silhouette and is described on the website as: “A contemporary take on a ’50’s look, this coatdress in ivory wool crepe has copped jacket ‘panels’ edged in fine black lace.”

Kate accessorised the look with contrasting black accessories, including a Lock & Co hat, clutch bag and classic black court shoes with subtle cut-out detail.

The duchess finished off the look with a pair of pearl drop earrings by Collingwood jewellers, which belonged to Princess Diana.
